2005 General Election

New Parliamentary Boundary

Since we are now in the midst of a general election, I decided to try to find out where Jordanhill fits into the parliamentary constituency we will be voting for..

The boundary has been changed repeatedly over recent years, but despite being Secretary of Jordanhill Community Council, I do not have a copy of any map showing where we fit in.

I tried the office of Mr John Robertson the current MP (or he was until Parliament dissolved), and they directed me to the Boundary Commission’s website at http://www.bcomm-scotland.gov.uk/

The attached map appears to be the latest and incorporates the following municipal wards:

Drumry, Summerhill, Blairdardie, Knightswood Park, Knightswood South, Yoker, Anniesland, Jordanhill, Scotstoun, Victoria Park and Hayburn.
